I have the following:
2xAA Maglite with Terralux Ministar 2 LED upgrade. Better light than the original but as with all LEDs reduced range. This torch stays in my work bag/coat.
Nuwai TM301X3. My main carry everywhere torch. Very focused beam.
Nuwai ALX253L. My first LED torch. Bright enough to be used as a 'weapon'
I've also purchased several Nuwai 303XIII (Q-III) as gifts. These are also very bright with a focused beam, but very short so a bit fiddly to use.
Surefire torches are probably the best - IIRC parts can be interchanged.
