I've been playing a pancake lunar module simulator since about 2003. Then in 2017 the sim dev produced a VR demo, so I got a Rift. The demo was awesome in VR.
I got some free games with the Rift, and never touched them.
Then in 2019 the dev released a flyable Apollo 11 landing scenario. I upgraded to a Quest 2 to get the best experience of it and got the Asgard's Wrath freebie, which I'm also not interested in. Even contacted Oculus support to see if they could delete it from my library. I'm not going to play beat saber, crazy golf or HL Alex either.
Does anyone else frequently use VR but not play games?

(very roughly) i play games 85% in VR, watch tv/movies etc 10%, google maps/wanderer etc 5%

wanderer is great, I walked past my dad cleaning his windows

going back in time is very strange, walking down streets how they used to be 10 years ago

basically it's similar to pcvr google earth vr but as a standalone quest 2 app.

And luckily, it's compatible with the Quest Pro.

I watch Disney+ and Amazon prime shows in VR and also watch 3D movies I have converted from my 3D blurays.

Being able to watch stuff on a huge movie screen is amazing and the Quest 2 resolution is very good for this.

I've not followed VR, but you're saying that you can "walk" through google maps street view in VR? Is it any good as opposed to street view on the pc/monitor?
sorry for late reply have only just seen this. you can "walk" through and look around in 360 degrees but it is not smooth locomotion like you get in a video, you are presented each 360 degree image at a time. it's like google maps street view but you can look all around. it is pretty good yeah.
