Does anyone NOT play games in VR

On the Quest 2 built in Web Browser you can log in to Disney+ and watch on a huge curved screen in full screen mode. Though I have found this has become unreliable recently.
Alternatively if you have the virtual desktop app on Quest 2 you can stream your PC's desktop onto a VR TV or movie screen and watch almost any video you can play on your PC.
You can also use the free Big Screen VR app to watch movies and video with friends in VR.

Rift S isn't amazing for watching video as the resolution isn't high enough. I used to use an Oculus Go which had the same lenses and LCD panel, and it was ok at the time, but modern headsets are far, far better for media watching due to higher resolution and better lenses.

You can however use the PC versions of Big Screen and Virtual Desktop to watch movies and video on the Rift S. Big Screen is free too.

Just to report back, it does not seem to be possible to use Disney+ on the Rift S. While you can bring up the desktop view and then use an Internet Browser, you can't full screen it - and the more fundamental issue is, when you press play, the video plays on the PC screen, but it does not play on the desktop view on the headset. I assume it considers it screen mirroring and blanks it out in case you're using it to duplicate or broadcast copyrighted material.

Use Virtual Desktop. However it's a paid app.

.

Yeah i get this, it's the same with ITV player. There was a footy game on ITV that was glued to the monitor and wouldn't mirror in Bigscreen. Oddly enough I-Player is fine mirroring over.

I noticed in the internal library of the Pico that web apps have appeared for the likes of D+

Personally I'm over 1600hrs in watching tv and films in the hmd. It's been an epic journey watching the most lauded TV shows over the last 15 years or so for the first time. Stuff like The Expanse and the Star Wars shows, seem like they were designed for the cinema screen.
