Does anyone own the GALAX GTX 970 OC or non OC version

Good to hear positive things on this card. Have had my eye on it, usually find GALAX to be quite an under-rated brand. Pity there's no 'proper' reviews out there like there was on say their 760.
 
Got my eye on one of these as well. Will wait until the black PCB version comes in to stock though.

Don't really need one as my 670 copes really well at 1080p, but I generally replace my card every two years around November.

Only thing missing from the card is flashy LED's for those that like that sort of thing (me being one of them :p).
 
I can confirm using a EVGA 500W 80 plus and GALAX GTX 970 EX OC didn't produce any whine, I specify was listening for this.

This was a build for a mate at work.

I was very impressed by this card as it was chosen for it's cheapness compared to other overclocked custom cards rather than quality and now it looks like it was better than the MSI I was recommending and we only didn't go for that as it was out of stock.

He's running a slight overclock, 1365 Mhz

Yes they could do with spending some money promotion over here in the UK.
