Does anyone prefer MS Edge to other browsers?

Just curious really, I've been using it as my main browser for some time, have it with the dark theme, it's really nice on the eye and seems to run really quick. Not really had any problems with it and always had the odd problems with FF or Chrome. What are your thoughts on using Edge as a main browser?

Edge gets used once to download Firefox or Chrome then never seen again.

It's useless and plenty of websites won't work on it, addon support is lacking, the UI is still using the Metro look and not a proper PC layout.

I use it occasionally when Chrome seems to be buggering about with my GSync when playing a game on the second monitor, usually when the game is in a borderless window. Read that Edge uses different hardware acceleration routines and has less of an effect. I doubt I would permanently switch over tho.

Not all my extensions are available for it yet so I haven't given it a full go. The android app is improving feature wise and sync is not too bad, so I may give it a try once all the essential desktop extensions are ported over.

The Edge mobile browser is excellent, same with mobile Outlook. I like the Edge desktop browser in principle, but it has a problem with the firewall at work and has a 5-10 second delay opening pages, so it's complete unusable.

Shame!

I use Edge as my daily driver as it's lightweight and noticeably more responsive on my Windows tablet than Chrome. I then use it on my desktop too because I like to use the same tool irrespective of which device I happen to be on.

I don't use any extensions on any browser beyond an Ad Blocker (which is one of the few extensions Edge has), so it does everything I personally want.

The only issue I'm having is YouTube did some kind of change recently and now going full screen on Edge produces a scroll bar inside the video. Only way runs it is to use Cinema mode and expand the window, or use Chrome. Annoying, but not a massive issue for me and it's only started recently.

I've been using Edge for the last year or so, more recently with ublock Origin. Have no major issues with it and very fond of the reading mode.

Have quite a lot of issues with Edge randomly just loading to a white screen for no apparent reason and seems to have compatibility problems with a few pages I use regularly so I use Firefox instead.

When its good, its great. I find it clean, simple and fast.

but

as already said, the trouble is that it has incompatabilities with a lot of sites (banking etc) which mean you have to use chrome/firefox… which is a shame.
