So is there a list of the improvements? I have not played since about 6 months after the initial release and found it hard to level compairing it to something like WoW which I got on well with for 2 years. Graphics were great from what I remember, just I seemed to do a lot and not get much back in the way of level's gained.

Game update notes are available on the official forums, there have been loads and loads of improvements since you last played and it'd take way too much time to post them here. Experience is a lot quicker now too, your best bet would probably to grab the 14 day trial and have a go.

There's new starting areas, new races, they got rid of the shared xp debt and locked encounters. I haven't played since Faydwer, but it's changed a lot (for the better, imo) since release.

Hi I got my Fury to lev 70 and loved every minute of it before my back problems started. I have my operation next Thurs, if that is successful I will be back in the game. I havnt even looked at the new expansion which is called Rise of Kunark.

We play on Runneyeye where most of the UK players are. Look out for Dekima if you are ever online

Im on Splitpaw i think. Im subscribed but haven't had much time to play lately. But a great game, they've made so many improvements to the game since its first year of launch. Well worth it.

I played EQ2 for nearly 2 months just after it was released even though I was still ****** at SOE over SWG, nice eye-candy at the time, but found the levelling way too boring and couldn't even find groups to do anything (and I was a priest!). Also the servers were absolute crap, and there wasn't a clear US/EU divide that I grew to love in other MMORPGs. Then WoW came out which pretty much destroyed all hope of playing EQ2 again :D

Tempted to just re-sub for a month to see exactly how much has changed, I'm sure if I didn't play WoW I'd be amazed how different that would be since release and at present too. Can't blame them though, must have tried everything to get 900,000 subs let alone 9 million :p

Skyboat,

I played EQ2 then WOW as as a rogue to lev 60 on PVP server. I then went back to eq2 and levelled my lev 28 fury (healer) to lev 70. I loved every minute of the ride. Alstho my guild heped as they ere a great help/company all the way.

Not sure what class you were as a "priest" but even as a dps/healer (fury) I was well weell in demand all the way. LOL after getting healer to lev 70 i did a SK (warrior) who was alo in demand.

This game really has so many fantastic memories for me

I mentioned priest since that's one of the starting types and since I levelled so little I think I *may* only have gotten to Cleric, then I stopped playing (I was playing various characters on and off as I like variety).

Check and see if you can login, they gave some de-activated accounts a free week or two a while back.
