Maybe but there was a " ultimately this is meaningless/divorced from real life/sideshow" aspect to the internet and so also most interactions, there was a different nature to it imo.This is nonsense, since day one the internet has been full of arguing and trolling.

I admit, I dont understand Reddit at all.
Look at a few games subs some times and it just seems to be 95% memes and fan art.
I am probably too old.
Unlike GD, which is of course a bastion of well balanced, intellectual debate.
I'd group all the above in about 10% and then the remaining 90% is a shocking amount of pornographic content - so i've been toldLol Reddit. 2% interesting stuff, 3% memes, 95% politically correct "I am a...." nonsense.
