Does anyone use Brita Water Filter on a daily basis?

Yeah, they're quite good actually.
Mum lives in a really chalky area so got a filtered tap built into the kitchen sink by default.

Only problem is that they do take up a large amount of space in the fridge if you want it chilled. :(

I've got one designed for fridge doors, so it's narrower but longer so still fits plenty of water in it. 99% of the water I drink at home has passed through a Brita filter.

Man up and just get used to the tap water, i had to get used to the random water we got in halls up here last year (comming from MK where it was nice normally). You'll get used to it or something

Since moving to central Manchester, the water is disgusting. Not only does it taste odd, you can leave a glass out and the next day it'll smell like a drain.

Ergo, Brita filter is a must here.

Don't need one where i live, we have soft water. All my relatives live in the south and when they visit they always comment on how nice the water is.

I've never noticed the water in this area to taste different to water from other parts of the country, however in the last year we started using a kettle with a Brita water filter built in and it does prevent tea getting a film on it.

Use one for pretty much all the water I drink. The water straight out the tap is fine, but after 10 or 20 minutes standing in a glass it starts to taste a bit odd, and in a few hours has a nasty taste to it. Since I don't tend to just down glasses of water then its a must for me.

we've got one at work, built in to a brita tap

but not really noticeable as we luckily have very good water here

I always thought the water in Oxford was fine :/ it's much better than Knaresborough water.

I'd be interested in getting a Brita filter for home, though, as I do drink more water than I used to.
