Does anyone use Brita Water Filter on a daily basis?

Sheffield and Leeds has nice water, but here in Lincoln it's pretty shoddy. Was in Notts for the weekend too and it wasn't that nice there. Brita filters are good though, I'd just go for it.

It's not anything to do with how soft it is, up here the water is really soft but tastes awful. Always use Brita filter.

Ahh i thought hard water tasted horrible due to the deposits in it? Ive noticed the water in Hertfordshire tastes horrible compared to the water we get here where i live.

I live in Birmingham and I have to say the tap water here is great. I have lived in other parts of the country so I know how awful it can be.

Some people clain health issues with Brita water filters and similar - you should do a little googling to see if you are bothered.

Hire a water cooler ? They come with massive water botttles.

Put some filtration and water softening into the cold water line somewhere?

I use one for filtering water for the kettle more than anything else. I'll drink the tap water where I live but prefer not to have a kettle full of limescale and a film on my coffee...

We have a filter fitted direct to the water tap and it works very well. We change it once a year and it costs £10 for the filter. That plus a stainlees steel kettle is a winner.

Always use filtered water! Reduces limescale drastically in my kettle and can't stand a cuppa with tap water now!
