Does anything like this exist?

What I am after is some kind of enclosure in which I can place my BT Vision box. It's the only non-black electronics I have with my setup and its bugging me for some reason.

Would love to have something which had some kind of heavily tinted glass/dark plastic on front which would allow you to see lights on the device (hinged on bottom to allow easy access to buttons) while the top, bottom and sides could be made from grilled metal to allow the device to stay cool.

Anybody know if something like this exists?

Making it for myself is out of the question sadly.

You can get sound enclosures, used to dampen sound of noisy boxes. The ones I've seen are pretty much as you are looking for minus the side grille, you would have to modify it yourself for that.

Try googling soundproof pc enclosure for starters.
From there I suppose if you just define the measurements you want. Give a wee bit for airflow to save the player overheating tho. Probably an idea if you fit some 25mm or 40mm fans inside the enclosure for that purpose.

Just thought, you can try a custom hi-fi shop, they are probably best bet for a custom made cabinet. Probably not the cheapest option tho!
