Does it make any sense to buy a TV from UK?

How much is international shipping, do the warranties transfer to whatever country and can be dealt with in the buyer's native language? What is return policy for international purchases?

Unless purchasing across borders is frictionless, then prices will be driven by the market the vendor is in.

It doesn't have to make sense. Vendors will price at what they think they can sell.

It's the UK.... We always get shafted.... Even when it was $2 / £1 ( ah the good old days) We were still paying 1:1 on electronic goods.

Prices for electronics have definitely gone up in the UK, but they are still very competitive for PC imo. It used to be that when I was home (EU country) the prices were much higher than in the UK, and I could get great deals in Britain. That stopped being the case somewhere around Brexit time. I don't think it's all Brexit though, it's also competition increased for retailers throughout Europe so price differences started minimising. It's not just UK though, I've seen US become less competitive vis-a-vis price differences compared to Europe as well in the past few years. So clearly there's a lot of factors contributing.
