Does resetting bios remove overclock?

I got the 4.4 battlefield 3 overclocked PC from here and there was a problem with sleep mode and I had to reset bios by taking out the battery. I have just realized that it might not be overclocked, I have stress tested my comp and doesn't seem to go over 3.4/3.5. The bios says its 3.4, no where does it say 4.4.

Edit: How do I overclock safely in bios, I have a intel 2500k.

Thanks.

Whats the easiest way to overclock it back to 4.4 and I asked overclockers on the phone and they said nothing would be changed. I thought it would reset.

unless your bios has a memory function u will have to do it manually again

i would check in the bios for any saved settings

write down all the settings so u can always get back to where u want to

I cant see any saved setting, its a intel 2500k 3.3. Also my games seems to be running just as well, it doesn't make sense lol.

tbh i would check out specific thread for your mobo/cpu or start a new one specifically for that purpose as i dont have one of those im not familiar with its particular bios settings

all the lolz on me now just seen you have done

Just set overclocking mode to manual and change multiplyer to x44 and leave everything else as it is. would have thought most 2500k's will have no problems doing this. Use core temp to err check temps and use cpuid to check core voltage as it will be on auto.
