Does Skype support conferencing?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hi, I've not tried Skype myself so don't know much about it I'm afraid, but does it allow more than 2 users to be in a conversation at once?

If not, does anyone know any software that does allow this?

I've got around 10 people that need to be able to talk to each other at once, 8 of them have iPhones, and the other 2 have a Samsung Galaxy S I think, so this software needs to support iOs and Android.

Most of the people will be in the same building, in fact I can hook all the phones up to a wireless router is this is needed...

Now I know next to nothing about things like VoiP, so is this possible or am I asking too much here?

I haven't looked, but I'm guessing its a pro subscription feature. As its for work then I'm sure that isn't such a big deal.

Yes - we use it at my company for just this purpose.
Nice, I'll have to try it out next time I'm at work. Are you able to set the phone to speakerphone at all while using Skype?

Well it would be better if it was free really, so I'll try it out between 3 or 4 iPhones to start with, and if it works well I don't mind getting a sub. :)

Not sure about getting it onto phones etc, however EVO is a nice solution for multi-user conferencing. Connects to a large number of H.323 compliant clients too:

This does look good, if a little overkill for me... This needs to be as easy as possible to use ideally, so I'm gonna go with Skype for now...

I've just installed it on my phone it seems to be set up and working... Now I've just got to test it out with more than 2 people. :)
