Does the Gigabyte DS4 Support Crossfire?

I got one of these in the hope that can run either Xfire or SLI, seeing as it has 2 PCI-X slots but didn't mention either, so maybe it i both. Vain hope methinks.
Actually, I paid the £18 extra for this over the DS3 because of the SilentPipe and the Firewire... one ****-hot GPU is enough for me!
Trouble is, it don't work. Well, not with the G.skill DDR2-800 RAM i have.

Whats the point of having 2 PCI-X for GPU's if they are not Xfire or SLI? Why would you run multiple GPUs if they are not linked, especially as one is running at x4 speed instead of x16?
Most GPU's have multiple monitor support so it can't be for that reason.
