Does the GTX 260 "on this week only" have HDMI output ??

AFAIK, none of the 260's come with HDMI.

DVI->HDMI adapters or cables can be had for peanuts, though.

I had trouble with a DVI-HDMI adapter (BFG one too that came with my 260). I only really wanted it for the sound, but when I hooked it up to my NEC, W7 couldn't recognise the monitor, and gave me a default res of 800*600 that I couldn't change. I installed nvidia drivers and tried rebooting, only to get a broken wireless adapter and a res of 1440*900. Eventually I just switched back to plain old DVI and everything is fine now. 1920x1200 res, no broken wireless, okay, so there's no sound, but I've ordered an optical cable, so I'll have that soon too.

Adaptor working fine here on BFG 280.
Dunno what the obsession is with routing sound through the awful speakers on the TV/monitor though, mine goes straight to my hi-fi amp.

Only problem is most of these break HDCP even the ones that say they are "certified" for it.

Hmm, I'd put the HDCP troubles I've been having down to immature drivers and Windows 7...

That said, AnyDVD cleared that up :)

anyDVD HD solved my problems too ;)

I really hate HDCP even with a fully certified setup* it still wouldn't enable telling me to use VGA...

*native HDMI, HDCP certified projector, etc. everything checked out in the advisor.
