Hi guys

I went into a shop yesterday and asked about trading in my Nokia N97...

I was told "Sorry we don't take N97's anymore, all the ones we sold came back faulty"

Only when I was walking out did I realize I'd bought my N97 from them. (so not quite all the ones they sold came back)

However this got me to thinking and i checked the receipt, I got it under a year ago for £280.

Im sure your aware of the fact that on most N97's the lens cover marks the glass and the flash booms into any picture you take. [EDIT: My phone has the issue]

Could i return my phone as faulty because of this ?

Cheers

Sorry, Forgot to say that my N97 has this issue quite badly and has had for some time. I just never worried about it. now that I've found out I'm the only mug that kept the phone, I'd like to return it

Well, Symbian is a bit of a dead horse but not because it 'never works'. Nokia phones are generally of a fairly good standard.

I had a go on an N8 yesterday, nicely built phone and lovely camera but Symbian is horrible to use. If it ran Android I'd get one.

I think he ment the N as a whole, I knew someone with a N95 and somehow broke it...dunno how....

I think nokia are best of with andoird tbh

I had an N95 for 2 years, best phone I ever had ...until I got my Desire ... now Android just makes symbian look 10 years out of date!

Nokia makes good solid handsets, they just need to embrace Android now.
