Does this count as spamming?

ok..so I logged on to my youtube today and Ive noticed when I went to the browse section that on every category of most viewed videos are from the same person. I can understand he has thousands of followers that would get his videos to be most viewed but why post it on every categories of all the same related videos. Isn't that just smilar to spamming? Bombarding all the categories of the same related video.

Ohhhh... sorry now I see. Still got that Monday feeling. Yeah that is a bit spammy.. surprised youtube don't crack down on it more.

Hmmm what to do... well theres a couple of email addresses under the videos.. we could each sign em up to 5 annoying mailing lists

Yeah, that'll show them, some spam e-mails. Mean while they are laughing all the way to the bank with their Youtube Partnership money.

I've noticed this as well.

These people make a lot of money once they've joined the youtube partner program.

Every time you comment or subcribe or like a video on one of these users they get a certain amount of money.

My belief is they have heavy subscribers bases that generate a lot of views, people watching ads on their videos earns them money. Not that far back i noticed the fad that a lot of the big youtubers began opening up additional channels and their subscriber base latching onto them too. Basically its a extra way to make money if you have a large subscriber base on youtube. Just think for example, If you have millions of views and say are getting £50-100k a month, opening up another channel or two will give you plenty of extra profit. I avoid them like the plague myself as 99% of the videos are about utter tripe.
