why do you think that ? when most other people in the thread thinks its a bargain... which it wasI think he's stitched you up, and I wouldn't call him a mate, best get charging your "other" mate for all of your time when sorting his computer
I would prob of questioned it yes, but Im not my parents am I.. Yeah from now on we will always ask how much a job is going to be first before giving the green light.
Anyway its history now.. the only reason I brought this thread alive again, was to say, his handy work didnt last long, as its leaking again.

Yeah hands are not steady enough and left hands much worse.. Its the same with computer while building them, someone has todo the building and I instruct.. Its a real pain in the rear end, when you know how todo something but your body wont let you do it.
Is everyone avoiding the real issue of value?
If every IT guy or person who knows a bit about computers started charging £100 to anyone in need of a simple pc fix, then some other guy goes around charging half that, would you lot think it was value for money, even when half that is in most cases a rip off?
Like i said peoples sense of value is very distorted and this is why we have problems.
