Does Tyre Dressing Mess Tyres Up?

Where can I get some of them from? I've just had to replace the Elise fronts already and they've never had any tyre dressing yet.

Thats what I was thinking, I go through about 2 sets a year.

Michelin Pilot Primacy will do 25k easily on the front and twice that on the back of her Polo. She only does about 6k a year in so they would have lasted much longer than 2 years - they weren't even half worn when they were changed.

I wish my tyres would last that long too - mine will do £300 worth of Conti Sport Contact 2 on the front in 10k or 8 months.

Megs Endurance Tyre Gel on my mums E240 with Michelin Pilot Sport HXs and now Primacy - lasted 45k

ContiSC2s on my GTI with dressing, fronts have 2 mm left on them after 15 k

Most people will. The Goodyear Eagle Venturers on the front of our FTO have just been replaced after 3 years, and I've still got the F1's I fitted in 2004 on the back of the Mondeo.
