Does your bottom take daily punishment?

I've had a Staples Kashmir for a few months and overall I'm quite disappointed with it. The padding flattened in no time flat, it has a quite serious wobble in the mechanism now, and the cloth absorbs smell. You fart on it, it will smell of farts forever. Smoke near it, it will smell of smoke forever.

It was gloriously comfy for a little while though...

Think it's an IKEA Malkolm at home, at work they aren't the best chairs in the world and find that after about 20 minutes of sitting in one I start aching. Developed a back problem last year and after a full assessment and taking measurements they shelled out for a Zento Smart, feels like you are sitting on air, though that may because of the inflatable seat base and lumber support

I have a Staples chair which cost around £60 and it's very comfy.

I can sit in this chair for 4+ hours and not have a single issue.

Got a noblechair Epic and I love it, absolutely fantastic for sitting in either for gaming or when I'm in it 9+ hours at a time working from home. Build quality is really good too for the money

My current chair is from Staples and cost more than £60 and was very comfortable to begin with but time and usage have flattened the seat foam so that it is not at all comfortable now.

Just had a look at this and apart from looking like a car seat on castors it has pretty good reviews.

I found a good solution and have purchased a 2inch thick leather seat pad, they are made for Wheelchairs, but are perfect for a chair, and cheaper than buying a new chair every time the seat cushion goes flat

Might have been an option if i had not already sold the Staples chair on.:D:D:D:D

I often wonder if the missus has problems on the porcelain thone some days....

For me though, I sit on an Ikea...

chair.

Like dining set one.

It's fine I think.

Sitting on a Freedom right now. It's comfy but not the chair for you if you want an excellent posture, it's too slouchy for that. Get a Aeron or something for proper sitting.

Other than that, my arse is fine.

I am not concerned with posture at 60 odd my days of being concerned with that sort of thing are long gone.
How long have you had the Freedom?

Edit. And the word arse escapes censorship when lesser words do not, wow.

Personally I like the chair, it's comfortable to sit on for hours. I spent £300ish from 2HND. If it had some way of forcing me to sit up by locking the back rest it'd be perfect, but I tend to find I am sitting up and slowly I lean back, then slide down the chair.

It's probably not for everyone, but I prefer it over the Aeron I had before.

I was looking at the freedom a while ago and discounted it for this reason. I like char to rock back rather than the back of the chair move independently to the seat, but all the 'posture' chairs seem to do it this way.
