My computer was working just fine 30 minutes ago when I had to pop out for 15 minutes, I came back to my screen blank in hybernation mode (LG Flatron), so I nudged the mouse to wake it up as usual but nothing happened. I then noticed my mouse and Keyboard (both USB) seemed to have no power to them as they should both light up but they didn't. So I hit restart but nothing changed. So I switched off, unplugged and shorted the Bios pins, waited, plugged in and switched on. This time it went to the Bios screen and both the mouse and keyboard lit up and I was able to navigate to Boot Priority before it just froze and the keyboard wouldn't do anything. so I restarted again and got back to the Bios screen and just quickly navigated to exit and save before it got a chance to freeze again, the computer restarted but then just stayed there with no display and neither the mouse or keyboard lighting up again. At this point everything else seems to have power to it, All the fans are running, cpu cooler is running, graphics card fan is running, power supply fans are running and both hard drives and dvd drives spin up.
Everything bar the CPU is less than a year old, half of it probably even less than 6 months old!

Specs are as follows:

Asus M4N82 Delux.

AMD Phenom Quad Core 9600 Black Edition.

Hard Drive:

Graphics Card:
Asus GeForce ENGTX480

Optical Drives:
2 x Plextor PX800A 18x DVD±RW IDE Dual Layer ReWriters.

PSU:
Coolermaster Silent Pro Gold 1000w Modular Power Supply.

Running:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 SP1

Monitor:
LG Flatron W2261VP

Any Ideas?

Ok, I removed three sticks of Ram and left just the one in slot A1 and switched it on but still no boot or display. So I swapped the stick in A1 for one of the other sticks I removed and switched on again but this time after a couple of seconds the display came on and it booted! So I shut down and installed the other 2 sticks but leaving the original A1 stick out..... again after a couple seconds it booted as normal. So again I shut down and installed the remaining original stick but this time in the remaining B2 slot, switched it on.... But nothing again!, Switched off, removed that last stick, switched on and it booted again! So looks like that 1 stick is bad/dead. It's less than a year old so back it goes!

Cheers!

I think you need to return both sticks, as they are pairs.

Did you purchase 2 packs of 2, least you still be able to use your pc when Rma the ram.

Yea I got 2 packs of 2. So atleast I will be able to keep going while they are RMA'd, unlike when my Powersupply went and it took Coolermaster 3 times longer than they say maximum for a complete RMA to even say that they received it!

[edit] Yikes! just read the receipt, Ordered March 11th! I best get it sent off! lol.
