Went to go to work this morning, wheeled the bike out of the garage and noticed the rear tyre was flat. I think I can see the hole(in the centre). I am hoping to do a DIY temp fix then ride it to get it repaired professionally.

What kits do you guys recommend? Does anyone know if Halfords sell any for a motorcycle?

Thanks

I fill my tyres with this http://bikeseal.co.uk
Got a puncture the other week whipped out the nail with some pliers, by the time I'd rode the mile or two to the petrol station it had sealed the hole then topped the air up and it's been good since.
That was 1k+ miles ago and there's been no loss of pressure.

So this stuff just stays in the tyre? So no need to whip the tyre off and get repaired professionally?

I filled the tyre with air yesterday, put the bike on the rear paddock stand and tried to look for the hole using soapy water. I couldn’t find the hole but the place I thought the hole was where actually a previous diy plug hole repair. I’ve owned the bike since may and the tyres look quite new(Pirelli Diablo). Could the air have leaked out as I haven’t ridden the bike for 2 weeks and was on the side stand?

Seems as it has already been repaired before, do you guys think it’s worth replacing the tyre?

Thanks

Could have leaked out of the plug yes. Did you buy it privately or from a dealership? If it's from a dealership tell them what's happened and ask for a new tyre.
Problem is you don't really know how big the original puncture was or how competent the previous owner was at fixing punctures. If you can afford it, replace the tyre.

I carry this with me https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gear-Greml...532333464&sr=8-1&keywords=gremlin+tyre+repair and then when I get home I permanently fix it with these https://www.amazon.co.uk/24Pcs-Tube...32333496&sr=8-2&keywords=tyre+repair+mushroom

I've ordered a replacement tyre. I purchased the bike privately and not knowing the history of the repair is a worry to me. I'm replacing like for like which from Demon Tweaks is £68 delivered(Pirelli Diablo 180/55/17) & £12 fitting at my local tyre place. As I carry my wife as a pillion, I think a replacement tyre is the safest option.

I've also ordered a repair kit which i'll keep under the rear seat.

Thanks for all the advice guys

It's not normal to lose that much air. I lose 1-2 psi over 4 months if I don't put my bike on a paddock stand over winter.
