So i passed my 125 cbt a little over 2 years ago in June sometime and i'd like to now do my direct access but is it true that i have to have my cbt when doing it?

i've got all of the documents to show that i have passed this its just that ive heard you have to re-do this to get any chance of doing your big bike license is any of this true?

thanks Leon

Yes mate, if you have a look at your cert from when you done your cbt, if its 2 years in the past, then yes mate, you have to re-take your cbt. Btw, I don't know if your cbt was cheap back 2 years ago but its just over £100 nowadays.

so once i get the cbt out the way i then have to book a theory test and then do the direct access and then once all of this is complete i have a full license for life like my car and can then drive any bike i wish? :)

Yep and don't forget to send the paperwork off, it's an expensive mistake not doing

Yep, once you re-take your cbt and pass it, then pass your theory test and direct access, and are over the age of 21, you can ride anything you want, even a women ;)

Will be booking it tomorrow has anyone got any recommendations of places to do it at around surrey or are they all the same price and just as good as eachother? I would do it at mitcham where i once done my cbt but i hear the big bike test is a lot more difficult and theres to much traffic there!

CBT do it at your nearest as it's on a tarmac playground with a few hours ride out.

You could try ART good and honest no fuss and you get 10% off clothing and lids at P&H which just saved me more than the CBT for a lid boots trousers gloves etc and the standard prices are better than online anyway
