Doing Pressups ?

How do i improve the number of press ups i can do in a single set atm im really struggling to do 20 in a single set without stopping or going weak in the middle body.Ive been doing at least 4 sets of 15 everyday for months to try and improve the max count but for some reason doesn't make any improvement any suggestions ?
 
Would you say doing 100+ pressups every day could be more harmful then good ?
