Domain Name Dispute

Hello all,

I'm seeking some advice on claiming a domain from one of these 'holding websites'. The company I'm developing for is www.air-inflatables.com, but they now want to register www.airinflatables.com (No hyphen).

At the moment, airinflatables is one of these holding pages, and does not have any client details for me to contact them. I've tried going through enom (the domain registrar) though they want me to bid for it using another site, starting at $200!

Are there any other options available to me in this? Or is it a case of biting the bullet and having to bid towards a domain name not being used.

Thanks

Unless "Air Inflatables" is the company's trademark and has been for some time, then you're going to struggle to get anywhere (Air Inflatables may not even be a trademarkable name...). Even then, the fees to do anything about it (solicitors etc) may well be substantially more than paying a few hundred bucks to get hold of the domain.
