Domain Name to SubDomain

Hi.

Hopefully this will make sense.

I've just set up a sub domain for friend to put a small site he's setting up. And he's purchased a domain name from Lowcostnames.co.uk.

My hosting is with Dreamhost at the moment. So how would I go about pointing his domain to sub.domain.com of my site?

The DNS section has 'ns1.dreamhost.com' and 'ns2.dreamhost.com' but LCN says it needs two IP addresses as well. But there's only one showing.

Any help as always would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if you're using cPanel, but the way I did it was configure the domain so it's pointing at the correct NS, then put it as an Addon Domain in cPanel

Thanks for the reply. Dreamhost doesn't use cPanel.

Tried having a look around but can't find anything similar to add-on domain.
