Couldn't find this as a repost, sorry if so!

All of these are legitimate companies that didn't spend quite enough time considering how their online names might appear ... and be misread.

These are not made up. Check them out yourself!

1. "Who Represents" is where you can find the name of the agent that represents any celebrity. Their Web site is http://www.whorepresents.com

2 . "Experts Exchange" is a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views at
http://www.expertsexchange.com

3. Looking for a pen? Look no further than "Pen Island" at http://www.penisland.net

4. Need a therapist? Try "Therapist Finder" at
http://www.therapistfinder.com

5. There's the "Italian Power Generator" company, http://www.powergenitalia.com

6. And don't forget the "Mole Station Native Nursery" in New South Wales ,
http://www.molestationnursery.com

7. If you're looking for "IP computer software", there's always.
http://www.ipanywhere.com

8. The "First Cumming Methodist Church" Web site is http://www.cummingfirst.com

9. And the designers at 'Speed of Art" await you at their wacky Web site,
http://www.speedofart.com

:D Old .. but still funny.

Regarding people's replies above, suprisingly not everyone spends 24/7 on the internet. I for one hadnt seen it before so cheers for posting.

Talking of old, people saying "Old post. Seen it before" gets tiresome. Are you trying to prove something or feel you're better than others because you've seen it before?

Yes, trying to prove I have an enormous e-peen

I've never seen all these before (apart from Pen Island), so cheers badgermonkey :)

Ignore what the others say by the way - as long as there is at least one who hasn't seen it before, then your thread is worthwhile. If every single person who reads this thread has seen it before, then yes it can be classified as useless and people are welcome to take the ****, but until then give badgermonkey a break!

Your welcome :)

And cheers, I agree with you! :p I knew about penisland about 3 years ago but the rest were new to me :)

Number 2 doesn't even work, I want expert advice!

Neither do 5 or 6 :( Would be funnier if they were real

You don't have to live on the Internet — wait a minute, is that some sort of insult? — to have come across these before. They have been posted at least twice before on these very forums.

The fact of the matter is that this is a forum. It is a place to discuss things. What is there to discuss about something like this? A few people post "lol," and the rest scorn the original poster for opening his email inbox full of umpteen-year-old jokes up to us. Relationship threads are just about bearable because there is at least something to discuss, but it is these threads that are tiresome. If you've come up with some original content, great, but when you're coming out with something 95% of the world has already seen and has already been posted on here before...

The thread takes up a minute amount of server space, and approximately 1 cm of vertical space on the forum view... so if you wish to ignore it you may... if you open it and then continue to post, you are just making the problem you describe worse by bumping the thread.

So the lesson is... if you don't like the thread, and you think its pointless, don't post in it :p
