Anyone else having issues with delivery tonight?

I ordered a meal at 9:16PM and it still hasn't turned up, called the store and no one is answering.

Seems like a few are also having issues going by Twitter.

Update:

Got the meal finally.. but cold :mad:

my local dominoes sent me a 50% off £15 spend earlier via text message probably because I haven't ordered from them in ages.

crap delivery drivers , crap staff.

once had a pizza from them where half the crust was black and looked like it had been crushed against the back of an oven....

doesn't it say "quality control" as one of the steps on the order tracker when you order online?
 
Least yours offers delivery, for some reason we have two near us but neither will deliver to my house?

But they do chuck in quite a few offers if you go collect i.e bogof

they probably have an XX radius around the store where they will deliver to and you live outside it.

maybe you live so far away it wouldn't be worth them doing a delivery.

I'm only about a 10mins drive from the one near me

Plus wasn't there football on, which again is a reason people might order pizza on a Friday night, making it very busy.

papa johns + pick your team + any time they score 2+ goals in a game you get a nice email

Yeah it gives me the choice of two, It doesn't bother me that much as it's very rare that we'll actually have dominos, I suppose it works out better as getting in from a drunken night out can't just ring them up to deliver :p

Not at my store they are not :p If you called them back to complain they will refund or give you a free pizza :D

The busy season has just started and it's been hectic in our store the last 2 weeks and tonight was very busy, waiting times of at least 1 hour. Chances are they stopped answering phones as they can't keep up with online orders.


@ Giggz, Have you asked why they don't deliver to your house? our store delivers 10 miles away at times.....If you haven't lived there long your house might be blacklisted for fake orders.

I think the issue is my postcode seems to want to default to the store that isn't closest to me for whatever reason and when you try to change it doesn't let me pick the closer one.

Placing an order over the phone for delivery the last time I gave up as it was easier to get blood from a stone.

When I order online my address gets printed on the boxes in a silly reverse fashion and you can't manually input the address to fix it :rolleyes:

bblalbla court , blala street 191

because the sticker on the boxes is to small the number doesn't appear :rolleyes:

once had one of their drivers irate because I didn't update my phone number...

only knew he was in the street because my ex got his call and phoned me asking if I had ordered a pizza
went outside he was in a right mood and acted like it was my fault for not updating my phone number lol

As there's no club football this weekend, they did it for the England game. So EVERYONE gets half price pizza Saturday and Sunday. Yay!

Not sure if i'm reading this wrong, but who else's fault would it be if you don't update your phone number? :p
 
There are Dominos adverts all over the phone boxes in my area. Nearest Dominos? 1 hour 10 mins away :p
