I hadnt ran a scan for a while so I did one using Nod32. It found a hack tool, which I promptly deleted, now there's no trace of anything on the pc, but how can I be sure Im not being hacked?

Cand anyone recommend a good app, or should I use a good firewall too? I use windows default and I believe my router has one too.

Hmmm, I thought a Hack tool was something on your computer that you have installed which could be used to create a virus or perform a similiar task etc.

It is probs a mis-interpret by Nod.

Nod32 is pretty good. If you look at the records and see what exactly the file was it found you could google it and see more of what it does to your computer.

It's probably just a random cookie that it's got scared about or maybe a key generator etc.

AV software generally sees things like pwdump and netcat as "hack tools" - i.e. software which although has legitimate use could potentially be used in an inappropriate way.
