This seems like a really ridiculous way of making some simple chicken skewers into an absurd over-engineered drama.....and I'm here for it.

I can't argue with that

[Nabinium]

Well....that definitely needs to happen again.

I did take some learning from it though:

- Took waaaaay longer to cook then I thought, I thought maybe 20 minutes, more like an hour and 20 minutes
- I need a razor sharp knife that I don't mind getting ruined

Otherwise not bad for a first run.

Why have you made me hungry at 9:31 in the morning even though I've already had breakfast?

i was just about to go and have a bit of toast and cheese. having read this thread i now know that i will be massively underwhelmed with toast.......thanks op, breakfast ruined

Well made my own.

I'm gonna let it sit there for a few hours, let the air and flies get to it a bit, try and give it a more authentic takeaway taste.

Did you really eat 8 pickled peppers in one go? Could you taste anything else?

Call me Peter Piper 'cos I'd pick at a peck of pickled peppers. The rare occasion I get a kebab it's always no tomato, extra chilies.

You'd eat 8 in one meal?

The kebab place we use it would be a disappointment to get as few as eight of them on a large kebab

They are so mild.

They are so mild.

They are indeed, you can also have chilli sauce to go with. 8 just seems extreme, perhaps that's just me!

[TellyTel]

Budforce you are a genius.

I've paid extra for a tub of just the chilies before. They're a pallet cleanser. So yes

This was my meal last night which i paid £19 for the privilege. Yours looks much better than mine! (mine was good though).

That reminds me of Gordon Ramsay referring to one of those as a swinging donkey ****. Can't link the video unfortunately

Anyone know or ideally have used any online website that you can order a doner from?

Read the thread title and thought you were after some new organs…
