Dongle or Not

Clicked it into all my other USB ports as they detect other USB things like Mouse, Keyboard and USB stick...

Yeah ive followed your steps and i found it straight away in the Device manager

If it appears in device manager then that means it's installed and detected.

Go to Control Panel, Network and Sharing Centre, and on the left click Change adapter settings, you should see the wifi adapter there as well.

What version of Windows are you using?

Can you see any wireless networks when you click the network icon on the bottom right, in the notification area?

EDIT: Your adapter doesn't appear there? Can you post a screenshot?

No it doesnt even pick up any other Wifi's in the area.. I shall try post a screen shot, which screen is it you need to see

Both device manager and the network adapter list if possible, as an example here's mine:

When i even try to connect to anything or via anything there is no internet devices being found, its as though everyone has internet turnt off

Right, so it sees the network dongle but for some reason it doesn't seem to report it, even the Realtek ethernet adapter. Did you restart the PC after installing the wifi drivers?

From the looks of things in device manager, you seem to be missing drivers for a few other things as well.

For now, we'll try get the missing drivers installed. Did you install every driver on the supplied disk that came with the motherboard?

Gonna sound like a right tit now mate, now ive restarted the computer it has detected the adapter.... Thank you so much for your time and patience with me... Im sure youll see more help needed from me in the near future, Top man :D

What brand is the PC/motherboard? Drivers should be available from manufacture's site.

Alternatively, you could also try plugging your PC directly into the router (through Ethernet) so that Windows updates then try the dongle again
