thats rubbish, there are cooking threads on here on a regular basis.

the thing is they are from the same users and on the whole do not get many replies. I'm not sure how many people would actually click on a subforum. Although as you say. It would make things a Lot easier to find.

you did a nija edit :)

If there was a cooking sub forum, then there would be more indepth conversations about the topic, and the threads would not get lost in the noice of GD

whats your point?

are you the sole source of cooking threads on Ocuk, check out johnny69 and others.

why is there so much girly bitching going on today? AH2 didn't imply he was the only source of tasty advice (and don't really get the reaction to the butter / oil comment in the steak thread) - just cos we like cooking doesn't mean we have to act like ladies people!:D

Open the search box...

Select 'Advanced Search'...

Search for thread titles only using the word 'cooking'...

= all you'll ever need, no point making a subforum when it's all available within 10 seconds with a minor application of effort.

If there was a forum then i think it doesn't have to be use compleatly for specific meals. Some of the decent cooks here could even write short guides or simple cooking steps that can be used in many dishes. I don't mean create threads on how to boil water, but simple things like the best ways to cook meat, what sort of spices go with what sort of food etc...
