Don't Believe It.

I ran into a lecture once in an old fashioned Uni lecture theatre, you know the ones with steep stairs. Piled down 2/3 of the stair under control and lost it on the last 1/3. What an entrance! For the wrong lecture. :embarrased:
lmao can picture that happening. :D

heh i did this the opposite way... was in a boring lecture, so while the lecturer wasn't looking we tried to sneak out the back (up the stairs)... i missed a step, made a big stomping sound, almost fell on my face... and had the entire lecture hall stop and turn around :D

at least i was in the right lecture to begin with though ;)

the worst i have is when im tired on a saturday night, look at my clock and see thats its sunday... i then think ****! its sunday night time i have work in a couple of hours!! have always worked it out before i actually went to work on a sunday though :)

Yeah. Our timetable was so confusing the other day! We didnt know if we had a lecture at 10-11:30 or it started at 12 because of other things going on in the day and it was soooo unclear. Me and my two friends decided it must be the 10am one so got up at 8, shower etc (shattered!) and left at half 9. Got there and the lights were all off :( it was at 12 o clock :( So annoyed!

at my last company we had stupidly named conference rooms, so we had arranged to meet in "Waterloo" everyone but one person turns up there, we give him a call after 10min asking where he was "waterloo, under the clock" comes the reply..... everyone looks round and hes defernatly not under the clock.... then we hear the anouncement that the 9.30 to portsmouth harbor was delayed.....
Poor guy still hasn't lived it down :D

I intend on sending them to a boarding school. Or atleast private! I can see how it helps.

Well i've had sleeping problems since I was about 17. This week *touch wood* has been the first time in a very long time where i've been literally falling asleep around midnight and waking up, without an aid of an alarm at around 6-8am. I feel so much better for it, but i'm just slow moving in the morning :P

Yeah, I find I sleep better if I touch wood first...

LMFAO!! :D

Oh man isnt it jus so bad when you start sprinting away trying to get somewhere and realise you dont have to be there.

I've woken up many times on a Saturday and moved faster than any human being I've ever seen only to figure out after about 15 minutes that it is infact a Saturday.

Just been rushing around at home in order to get to college for 9am. Missed breakfast, never had any fun, came to college all tired and basically, not up for it.

I get here, go to walk into class and they're all different... Oh yes, that'll be because I'm a whole hour early. So here I am drinking water, posting on the forums.

Anyone done anything similar, or worse? :p

Phil.

haha I know this all too well :(

I've never actually done this but I have a funny story about one of my brothers :D.

It was about a year ago now and he set his alarm for 6.40 am to get up for work. He woke up and half looked at the clock and saw .50 and thought he'd slept in a little so jumped up and got ready for work. He was wondering why there was barely any cars on the motorway and when he got there he thought it was even stranger that he had to open the private car park as no one else was there but he never thought too much of it. He opened up the shop and did his usual brushing up and sorting the tills and that which he does every morning, By this time he was slightly worried that no one else had turned in and was going to text some of the staff. The next thing his alarm started to go off on his phone. The eejit had gotten up 2 hours early! The worst thing was that he had to work until 9pm that night :)

I once turned up for a new job a day early

and on an overnight school trip to London staying at a quaker house I sneaked out after the doors were locked, climbed out the window with a mate and travelled round London on the night bus. Tried to climb back up and went through the wrong window and stood on my teachers bed. At 7.30am. Thought I'd got away with it cos it was empty but as I went for the door he walked in from the bathroom with towel round his waist!! I was in disgrace for the rest of the trip.

Actually not sure how that fits in with the thread now but i'll post it nonetheless! :D
