It's 1 spider, 1 tiny spider...Within a mile of where I'm sitting how many spiders do you think there are living, with no problems.
It's not an indangered species. Its not going to cause the natural way of things to change drastically. How many spiders are killed when we walk from A to B over the fields? How many bees\flys\butterflies and spiders are killed by trains, planes, buses, cats and dogs?
pretty sure the people who own insects and arachnids will be pretty miffed you say it's ok to kill their pets because they aren't cuddly....

I'm sure the number floating around is 1.5 billion insects for every single human being, so not even including arachnids and other bugs killing one spider (albeit it in a completely OTT manner) doesn't make a blind bit of difference in the grand scheme of things.
Now, as I type this, a spider popped out on my desk from my monitor!
