Ive had this Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for about 4 months and ive just had the chance to install it, i forgot it was on my shelf sitting behind some other old games :p
After i installed it and dl and installed the latest patch 1.5, i went into settings to put all settings on max. The only setting that is disabled is the AA which wont let me turn on unless i take the shaders off 3.0 back down to 1.1 which aint an option as it makes the game very nice. I do notice the lack of AA even though its a shadowy game but when i do get to see it looks quite bad, so how can i turn it on.

Anyway im loving the game im playing on expert as i remember someone saying on here that its a bit too easy on normal. And expert aint tough at all but then again im only on the second mission :p So far ive played the game very stealthly i aint fired a single shot yet i choke all the enemies or knock them off cliff edges....my guilty pleasure and also i interrogate every one than can. I laughed out load when i interrogated the first baddie " plz dont kill me" said the baddie, sam replied " dont say monkey and i wont kill you" :p

A couple of questions about the first mission though:
1. when that guy was getting tortured was there any way i could have rushed down there before he died so i could save him?
2.when the area was clear and the guy was hanging up there my boss on the radio said to leave him up there for interrogation analysis, but i did have a choice of cutting him down. I choose to leave him cause i thought i would be better off following orders, does it make a difference?

Anyway loving the game i think ill go back to it :)

I wouldn't lose any sleep over that one, he dies no matter what you do :p and i should know i spent ages trying to save him :o

Ive just started mission 3 and all i can say is the game seems to be getting better and better :)

As soon as the level started i saw two guards chatting to each other about having a garage light  :p and one guard patrolling the area, i just sneaked really quickly towards the chatting guards and grabbed one of them in mid conversation and the other guard lit a flare but it was too late as i dragged him into the darkness. After having a little talk with him about the garage light i knocked him out and then sneaked my way all the way to the side of the building and turned off the lights. As one of the guards went down to investigate i quickly snuck up on the patroling guard and knocked him out then made my way back to the last guard and broke his back :p

Ive just had to climb up the roof and rope slide through the building into a laser secured room and ive just used one of the sleeping guards to use the retina scanner.

What else can i say about this game its brilliant and im hoping to finish it before Double Agent comes out :)

Heh, i was in the same situation about 3 weeks ago after my copy that i got free was just under my bed. As i never got into PT, i lost all interest in the SC series after the first one, but CT is absolutely awsome, but too time consuming. :p

Playing it co-op is also schweet.

This is an awesome game, i had it installed and was on the 2nd to last mission i think, but i got a little bored, and have since lost my saved game. But it was really engrossing when i was into it. Really looking forward to the new SC.

im still in love with this game every mission is getting more tense with the near misses of enemy spotlights and infrared cameras :)
Im a few more missions in and im just starting a mission where i got to break into the chinese embassy and dl porn off there servers :p not really something nasty is on thoes servers :)

Ive started a japanese level and ive got to debug the house as well as find this bloke, it aint gonna be easy but hey im sam fisher and im a double agent...who do you side with :)
