gone frome a 2mb to and 8meg connection

lol dlding at 700k a second...live in a small village surrounded by old people and no other real downloaders and I live next door to the exchange too

so get the full bandwidth +some

aol is great as long as you dont use their software...im using an always on connection so I dont need to use dialers or any of that crap

Yup on AOL here to, and not using their software, 100% unlimted to boot.

AOL is great as long as nothing goes wrong with your line. Mine, after years and years of stable connections, has started dropping me at random points in the day. Sometimes giving me only 30 seconds of internet before losing the DSL signal. It happens when using my own connection and the AOL software.

I wish my ISP would hurry up and upgrade my connection!

I signed up a year ago under the premise that I was going to be getting 8meg very soon. They said it would be about 2 months after I signed up. I've phoned them various times throughout the year and they always tell me it will be upgraded at the end of the month... But nothing materialises

your exchange also has to be good enough for 8 meg. having a city size exchange in a village of 1400 houses is great
