Don't you hate it when...

Wait the weather is nice today? It's cold, overcast and windy in Cambridge.

Oh and it's been raining all July and August. Nice summer my arse - May and June weren't bad though.

People must have extremely selective memories, it's been hot nearly all the time in the Midlands.

It hasn't around Stoke/Shrewsbury/Telford.

Yes its been warm, however, its rained at least once day in the last 2 months, and even when it isn't raining its been overcast. Today though, blue sky's, a little cloud, and 20-23'c. Just a little bit windy :)

It's been gash up North for weeks. It's rained pretty much every day since July 15 (my daughter's birthday and, as it happens, St. Swithin's day) and it's only just now that we've had a decent weekend. It's nice today and supposed to be nice tomorrow, but then it's back to rain. Rubbish.

Weathers great here in Reading (Bar a few days of rain). I went back home to Wigan last weekend, apparently its been raining every day for 3 weeks. Now i know why i left (other than those small matters of job prospects, etc) :)

Note the northerners saying how it's not been good, it's constantly a 5-6 degree difference compared to the south and always raining.

It's been quite good in Glasgow, my neighbours have been BBQ'ing or just generally getting hammered in their wee garden most days. I thought about going over one day, but then I saw one of there friends in a wife beater, more sovereign rings than I have pound coins, armed with an Asda trolley full of booze. I love the locals.

Problem is that people think that sunny in one part of the UK means that it was sunny in the whole of the UK, or vice versa.

It's been raining this week, work flooded and I had to spend the time getting rid of the water.

People complain its been a **** summer just because its been one week of cloud and rainy weather where it hasn't even been cold. Do people have goldfish memories now?

Also, what else do you fine gentlemen hate, I am curious

It HAS been an utterly crap summer but it was to be expected. I spent 4 weeks abroad this summer with another two weeks coming up. If summer won't come here I will go to the summer!

For me here in Jersey, the summer came early and it is now gone early - not that I care because winter is the best time of year imo, lots of rain for excuses to game! Better surf, new movies, new games...

Up north the summer has been RUBBISH, about a fortnight of decent weather then wet miserable and cold for the rest of it. Yesterday was the first decent day in about a month

This! Its been raining, windy and cold throughout June and July. Not one single day of sun in that time. Today and yesterday have been quite hot and sunny, just a shame the summer is nearly over :(.
