Yeah, I saw this the other day and it does look the best graphical overhaul I've seen so far. Does anyone have a link, ideally with an installer?

I tried installing the mod very late one night quite recently, and frankly the instructions imo weren't that clear. Haven't bothered since, been playing other mods.

Looks like the walls are tessellated, though it's probably just very good parallax mapping.

does the game run in 1080p yet on win 7 64bit ? that was the reason i stopped playing, cos it didnt.

Game was last patched in 2007, it did come out in 2004.

Unless you edit the config file. No.

Can't realy comment on the d3 changes, but id imagine there not all that different from the quake 4 videos they got up there running the same mod. The side by side seems to show all heck of a lot more lighting/texture work.

Personaly im a lover of the engine, it's got the chunky meat feel to it that the unr3 engine lacked, it's just a shame that it was never picked up because of it's other limitations. The single player in q4 and prey was ace, ill be hooking q4 up for a run when it's all patched up.

Looks good, but now they need to mod the single player and stop things continuously spawning behind you, or in the room you just checked, etc.

I just tried sikkmod alone and it brought my core i7 rig to its knees. I have a geforce gtx 470 and im averaging 20 to 35 fps. Ouch.
