thing is with mods and so on it looks as good as any game now nearly how many years on ?

if they have the game with the same graphics but without the hassle of modding a great win tbh

waiting for my copy to arrive :cool:
 
I was getting excited for this but then remembered how I didn't think doom 3 was all that great.

Unless its a totally revamped into one heck of a awesome game job I don't think I'll part my cash.

I could totally immerse myself in the 'strange and terrifying happenings in deep space' scenario, but it got rather spoilt by 'lights mysteriously go out and hidden doors open that just happen to have zombies behind them for no logical reason'.
 
I read a quick review and it appears as though the consoles are the only ones getting co op for doom 1 + 2 and there is no co op at all for doom 3.

I might have misread the review as it was a bit confusing, but yeh that sucks that it is redesigned with consoles in mind.

links to xbox review :rolleyes: :p yes mathew they have suped up the graphics.

thing with this which some may miss is it will be modded more and its similar to having all the other great mods on without the hassle or conflicts of running them

if you have had them running right and the best mods it makes doom superb and very good.

there was a Prometheus mod already and others being done

best thing about it the gun sounds are the original ones lol . obviously not played doom before. great reviewer
