Double bed question....

Just looking for a new bed for my room, just looking at this bed http://www.bedworld.net/beds_mattre...d_Discount_Vienna_Faux_Leather_Bed_Frame.html but im getting a bit confused with the sizes. I'm looking at getting a double, but on that site it says in the description that the double is 147cm, but then the size option is 135cm underneath.

Am I right in thinking that the 147cm is the actual size of the whole bed frame, and then the 135cm corresponds to the size of a double mattress that will go in the frame? Might have to stump for a small double if its over 140cm as im pretty limited for space.
 
I don't know if this helps but i work for Silentnight and the size for a double mattress only is 135cm.

I think the 147cm will be for the base.

Thanks mate! Don't suppose you can get cheap mattresses? Just realised that getting a decent mattresses will cost more than the actual bed!
 
You can get an average mattress and a memory foam topper to go on it.

As I rent, and didn't want to shell out £200+ for a nice mattress, I just got a £70 topper, and take that from house to house.

Makes even a crappy mattress lovely to sleep on :)
 
A memory foam mattress is still well worth the buy man.
Trust me, before i had one my back was wasted all the time, theres only so much a matress can do but man its so much better and it's SO comfy.

I don't wake up feeling like i've been beaten up since I got one,

I don't understand either I went o Ikea and bought a 180*200 :D

best buy ever. :D
