Double Cream

Hello there, I have a tub of Tesco fresh extra thick double cream. Display by the 19th and use by the 21st.
It had gone very thick in the pot. Is it still ok to use please ? You can spoon it out and it sticks to the spoon as if its been whisked.
I was putting it on my trifle tomorrow once the rest has set.

I would say yes. It is within the use by date, providing it smells and tastes OK it's OK to eat.

The thickening is just like a coagulation process.

Yes it smells fine, I just had some in my coffee and tasted ok.

Just eat a spoonful, if it tastes okay and smells okay it's fine to use.

It is normal colour and smells fine. I am going to use it. I hate wasted food
