Stayed in black camp. Really enjoyed trivium, enter shikari, prodigy, papa roach, pendulum and steel panther.

Did anyone else go to the 'comedy' stage? That was the biggest load of crap I've ever witnessed, the last two guys were just...wtf. Since when did throwing rice around in the air yelling RIIICCEEE count as comedy?

HAS ANYBODY SEEN DAVE!?!?!:D

Seriously though I had such a ****ing Immense time I'm still all hyped up OPETH, KorN, FAITH NO MORE, Prodigy, Pendulum I was In mah element however the best had to be on the last day from Journey Onwards at Main Stage so many classics!!!!

Didn't go this year, although would have been my festival of choice as most of the others are complete PAP. Had too many time/money/work constraints.

On a plus side, I will be watching Justins videos of boobies, I mean KoRN, later on when I get home :D

Another awesome year! Highlight of my life seeing Trivium :D second favourite was Five Finger Death Punch and third was Slipknot! I was on the barrier for Slipknot and got to slap hands with no.6(?).

Anyone here managed to get their wrist band undone without cutting it ?

I'd like to take mine off for work and stuff but wear it at other times...

Went on the sunday, was watching the main stage all day. Beautiful weather, classic 80's rock, goosebumps at Def Leppard ( Ladies and Gentleman...... Rick Allen ) amazing, what an amazing man.

The black plastic bit opens like a book when you pull it apart, hurts your fingers/wrist in the process. Then you need to lift the pin bit out of the wristband/other side of the plastic bit. But doing it like that will get it off without cutting it. :)

Download was amazing this year, soooooo many great bands. My personal highlights were Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Prodigy, Journey, Steel Panther, Lawnmower Deth. My biggest disappointment was Manson but it was sort of expected. Wish i saw him 10 years or so ago.

I loved classic rock Sunday hope that returns next year with someone huge headlining like Van Halen.

Well I pulled that tab but the top of the pin (Like a black circle), snapped and stayed in, so the latch is loose but the pin is still in place :\

I pulled at the fabric round the metal ring and it came apart I then had to tie it very carefully so's as not to lose the "Donnington Park 2009" & "Download Festival" bits in the knot

I had an absolutely amazing time, that isn't even lessened by losing my wallet during Prodigy and it getting rinsed for the last of my money and train ticket.

Two of my mates got there for opening on Wednesday and claimed us the acest spot, right near the entrance to blue camp. On Thursday we spent nearly the entire day just hanging round the entrance trying to get people to do beer bongs with us :D. By the end we had a right little crowd built up, it was fantastic. Did the same later on Sunday too, and kind of forgot our plans to go and see Papa Roach and Trivium. Ah well. Was in the Arena for most of the other time though.

Favourites were Hatebreed (got boosted to crowd surf, came straight back down on the other side of the guy, and cracked my jaw into some guys head on the way down), Rendulum, and Limp Bizkit. Glad I ignored Marilyn Manson when all my mates went to see him. By all accounts he was crap, and I got to watch Cornell play Black Hole Sun instead. Also enjoyed Facecage, early on in one of the tents, and them organising probably the biggest circle pit with the least people in. It was like just running on a track at times.

Did anyone catch Parkway Drive? me loves them....
I didn't think they were all that to be honest. Crowd didn't see all that up for it. I was right near the front and there was still very little movement.

Well I can only hope the next time you decide to do this at any festival, someone catches you, throws you out and gives you a kicking.
Ah, big deal. Dude paid about half price for his ticket and got away with it. It's not our problem if security didn't check properly enough. Hardly worth a "kicking."

So you're happy that he had the same experience as you and your mates while paying half the amount? And that the price of your ticket might go up again next year due to him and the hundreds of others cheating the system?
