Not heard any bloodsimple, must try and get hold of some. Purchased my tickets yesterday and going up with a few mates. I'm told the campsite is opening on wednesday so were going up then to grab a decent tent spot.

Really looking forward to Trivium the most as I've not seen them before.

who has heard bloodsimple? or even better seen them live?

i love their album :) think they should be good at download
anyone else like them?

Yeah a band formed after "Vision Of Disorder", who still have that hardcore sound with some grunge and metal sounds thrown in. The guitar work by Kennedy is good but I dont like Tim Williams voice that much. Good band none the less, looking forward to them too :D

Yup, really looking forward to seeing them at Download.

I was supposed to see them support Trivium at Astoria the other month, but couldn't make the gig in the end so sold the ticket to my mate :( Gutted to have missed them! But at least I'll see them at download :D

Just got a text from the missus saying our tickets have arrived! Whooohooo!

Just got to wait and see if the Royal Mail have tried to deliver the other 3 (for my mates) to my house. If they have then I'll have to make a trip to the depot.

Breed 77 are playing on the sunday
if you're going - make the effort to go and see them

never seen a 'small' band perform with so much energy
i've seen them 6 or 7 times - never a second rate show

*jealous*

they opened the Main Stage on the sunday last year and did, in my view, a better job than probabaly the next 2-3 supposidly bigger and better bands.

filthy dirty! bleurgh!

Trivium put on an Extremely good show and are very talented, I will admit that.

Shame all there songs are so predictble.

Some of the slots though are a total joke, Prodigy and Hundred Reasons playing above Soilwork and God Forbid... urm, WTF?

I must admit I think Prodigy is going to be totally amazing, I can see the atmosphere in the tent being 2nd to none. I can see why a lot of people have questioned why they are even at Download, and while I agree they don't fit the stereotype of bands that play they do have good music and will be brilliant.

Yeah totally agree. Prodigy are cool even if they dont fit in with the steriotyped bands that play at download
