Download is great but web pages take ages to load!

virus/proxy/adware/spyware/on demand virus checker can all do this, and obviously something is different on the other boot OS. Could take some tracking down, and perhaps could be faster to go for a nice shiny re-install if you have all your data backed up...

It's looking that way :(

Would Ad Aware check 4 browsers?

Just had an idea - I have dual boot so will try that.

Ad aware is a free program that scans for crapware, down load it and run it and see what it finds then press button to delete what it finds.

Thanks geeks :D

I can't be 100% sure what did it but here goes.
I re-booted my Modem as suggested but didn't re-boot my PC and the download stayed the same.
I ran Malwarebytes (which I haven't done for months) and found 38 threats  and installed Ad Aware which found another 6.
After re-booting I got my web download speeds back so I'm not sure if it was Malware or a PC + Modem reboot.

Dimple is now happy.

I would've thought it was the malware.

Sweet.
I run Ad-aware at least a couple of times a week, Once you have done a full scan & you know you are clean the next time you run it you can select Smart scan which only take a couple of minutes to run/clean.
