downloading CSS?

Has anyone done it?

I can't remember my old steam account details which i've registered my copy of css and half life too so need another copy.

I was going to download it, but what does the taxes amount to?

i don't want to get stung with 'plus tax' when i can get the game for £15ish.

when i downloaded css i don't remember there being tax, but i might not have been paying attention

Have a look, you won't be charged anything they don't inform you of.

I just bought tomb raider from steam for $19.99 + tax. it cost me an extra $2.44 plus $1 international charge, so $23.44 in total.

It will tell you the total cost after you have put your card details in but before you confirm the order.

I just bought it off steam as well, as most online shops that deliver resonably quickly are out of stock, cost the same as the guy above. Wanted to pay via paypal but it would'nt go back into steam to confirm it so had to go the CC card route via steam itself.

Not that im overly concerned but the connection you put your details into via steam don't seem to be encrypted, or maybe they are but you just cant tell. Put me off for all of 30 seconds anyway.

i just got a bit worried when it said $19.99 plus tax but didn't tell you what the tax was.

the connection isnt encrypted?! bugger me thats abit shocking if thats true. iam sure it will be though, just doesnt say?

i bought mine from a store but its easy enough to download and can take a couple of hours depending on your connection.

i just bought Day of defeat source for $9.95 tax was $1.97 i think well worth it, and i forgot just how easy it is to buy from steam

Surely you can get your steam details emailed to you?! why fork out for a game u already own :confused:
