Downloading through a computer

I want to download some of the free games and things on the SE website for my K800 but I only have a basic O2 contract and get next to no free data. Is there any way I can either connect the phone to the computer and download via my broadband connection or a way i can download the files to my PC first then transfer them to the phone?

Yes just download the programs or whatever you want, then connect your data cable to your phone and the pc then fire up the pc suite that you installed on the pc. Then start up file manager within pc suite and if the phone is connected you should be able to open it up and just drag and drop the files you want into the phones memory or memory card.

Unfortunatly when i download the file it downloads a .jad file which is just the install file. When i open it on the phone it then downloads the game and installs it using up data on my phone.

Well then thats the only way it will work, in order to get that program running, it has to download the files from somewhere in order to get it running.

maybe you can borrow a mates sim card or something which will be allowed to download? Then just swap the sim back.
