Hi I'm planning my u2 ufo watercooling build and I'm wondering how many rads is too many!

I've got a thermochill HE 120.3 coming for the front 3 fans and I'm considering the following additional rads:

1) 240mm for the back panel
2) XSPC AX 360 external rad on a rad stand
3) Both :D

Any disadvantage on getting the other rads? The pump is a d5 in an xspc dual bay res.

It'll be cooling an overclocked 5820k and a 780 lightning.

Thanks in advance

No such thing as too many rads if you already have bought them and have fans/pump power. Only thing I'd see is if that D5 can handle all the restriction in the loop enough to give decent flow.

There is the minor downsides of cost and fitting them but if you can overcome these then you'll be fine. I personally wouldn't choose an external rad as they are a hassle when it comes to moving the system (even for really short periods of time) and 2 360mm radiators will be plenty for your components.

Laiing's D5 pump will be more than sufficient for that loop. Mine pushes through a CPU block, GPU block, 240mm rad and a 360mm rad without any issues at the lowest speed.
