Downsizing from TT Core X9 to the O11D XL + EK Front Distro plate

So Most of the parts have finally arrived. I have decide to revert back to the Gigabyte Aorus Extreme X570 as this performs considerably better than the Asus Crosshair Dark Hero and allows me to maintain my ram settings with the latest AGESA 1.2.0.0 which the Asus could not.

Unfortunately the AX1600i has still not arrived, so I have had to make do with the over sized AX1500i and cramming the cables in. It really doesnt look comfortable. Ill have to re do the job when the AX1600i finally does arrive.

I have finished working out the tubing, and currently spending a hell of a time trying to get the cables in neatly.

Here are some pics of my progress so far.

I realised later the Flow meter was plumbed in the wrong way round so will have to put it back to where it originally was.

More to come.

Finally completed the revised build. Will need to change out the PSU though when it finally comes. Overall, temps are great, Ram 10-15C cooler even at 1.54V so happy with this revised version.

with all them OTT watercooling parts you should have added a RAM block aswell. i know it doesnt really do anything but i beleive the backplate cooler on the gpu doesnt do anything either (well not as much as you would hope).

but wow thats a nice build. im all about itx now though.
