DPD Delivery status none?

DPD have unfortunately been designated as the delivery company of my ps vita. I bought it from sainsburys who are usually good but... When tracking my pacel, it says delivery status: None, but it says information received on 5th october. I ordered 4 days ago and they told me id have it next day. Been a joke. Can anyone explain delvery status none? Thanks
 
Delivery status is "none"? Not seen that before, what does it actually say on the tracking? "awaiting receipt of parcel"? If so contact sainsburys and just let know could be an issue their end.

thanks a lot, i spoke to sainsburys today, told me that there is an issue between them confirming they've sent it to DPD and DPD confirming they've received it, and i should have it tuesday time. but, if what you say is correct, then even better, I've gone and bought games for it since and i go abroad on the 13/10 so if it didnt arrive by then id have to cancel the order. :(

Ill post to let you know whats happened and confirm for you guys. thanks for the help!
 
If it says it is in Birmingham on Friday, that is the main sorting hub for DPD, so it is possible to arrive on Monday, however if not then Tuesday it is. Just track it and see what happens on Monday/Tuesday. :)
 
when i check tracking on my pc, it says awaiting receipt of parcel. even though it says DPD next day delivery 5th october. Hopefully itll be here tuesday. :)
 
Nothing today and sainsburys were useless. Nwver rang as they said they would, whwn i called he said i dunno where it is mate sorry try again tomorrow. Not bloody good enough absolute shambles supposedly next day delivery 4 days later no parcel.
 
Well according to the first guy at sainsburys they sent it. DPD havent sorted it they reckon... Dont know whats going on. If its not here on wednesday im cancelling. Pathetic show. not going to play the blame game yet, but at the end of the day it should have been delivered now. It was next day delivery and if it turned up yesterday that would have been fair enough but it never. I stand by what I said; no parcel today is going to be a cancelled order and a complaint. Just wished I'd gone to gamestation now.
