DPD Delivery Times

Sounds sorted but I've had that occur once with DPD.

In the end the website changed to 'ran out of time' and the driver had to fetch it round the next day (on a Saturday!).

Was a tad miffed at the time but nice of them to upgrade to a Saturday rather than bounce to next working day. :)

(Was a slight downside that I had sent it to work so I would be in to receive it... and had to wait outside work on a Saturday morning :D)

TLDR - I suspect that time means they aren't actually sure they can do it :o

Ive had to wait with the driver for 10 mins as they are not allowed to deliver before the slot... A little crazy, but still better than other delivery companies

I'm having similar problems. I had the wrong mobile number on my account so didn't get a text or email. That said, my order is still "in the sortation office", so I'm hoping I don't have to wait until tomorrow since this is the second day off I've taken to wait for this delivery.

E: apparently the label they applied was dodgy, so they have to reapply the label and send it tomorrow while I'm at work. I can't take a third day off work, no neighbours in, and the depot is in Leeds, which I can't get to in time from my office in Manchester. So I'm angry.

All sorted now - DPD were good to their word and upgraded it to next morning delivery, and 5UB was brilliant chasing things up for me.

I must have been the unlucky case that got a glitch in the computer system, as I said before, never had problems with DPD and they've always been brill for me in the past.

I suppose it depends on the depot and who's out in the van too. Last time I ordered a new rig, DPD delivered it four streets away :S
We use them all the time at work now and they're mostly pretty good

Glad it got sorted, mean while Yodel deliveries are always on time.

I've had similar from a YODEL driver in a beat up old mum truck. Same driver delivered to me twice in 2 weeks and left parcel on door step without knocking or posting a card.

Then when you complain via Twitter they seem to laugh it off with silly hashtags.
